Site Restructure

Just a note:

  • The “blog” section is being renamed “Articles” (although the url will stay the same so as to avoid breaking any links); this section will focus on concepts, approaches, and other types of knowledge transfer material. Images will be included, but will not be the purpose of the post.

  • A new section, titled “Sessions”, will focus primarily on, well, sessions of photography. These will primarily be image galleries for sharing collections of images specific to an event or outing.

  • The “Galleries & Projects” will be significantly reduced down to a true portfolio page, showcasing my favorite images.

So for example:

  • I have an idea for an upcoming blog post about macro photography. That would go under “Articles” and would include some examples.

  • I have a collection of photos specifically focused on macro photography; these would be posted under “Sessions” with minimal verbiage. A link to the “sessions” collection would likely be included in the article post.

This will allow me to have both a dedicated “portfolio” of my favorite images, as well as a separate place to easily post larger quantities of pictures.
